TCM had a fine gig in Bristol, TN at O’Mainnin’s Pub with our friend Reagan Boggs. Thanks to Jarod Manzo for filling in on bass. We took this picture of an odd holiday bargain we missed out on. The show was interrupted by a seven feet tall man who orated an impromptu (and from the heart) endorsement of L C King Manufacturing Co. They make great blue jeans and are a local business. If you are in Bristol, TN or the Tri-City area, The Coal Men also encourage you to shop for your blue jean needs at L C King Manufacturing Co.

TCM will be playing new year’s eve at the Key West Hog’s Breath.

TCM had a wonderful trip to our favorite club in Virginia on the 17th. Thanks to all who came out. We played traditional Mexican Loteria (bingo). Prizes from the local Goodwill included Dwight Yoakum, Georgia Satellites LP’s, an electric iron, and a fine painting of a rooster. Congrats to our friends Mike and Gail for there 30th anniversary and best healing wishes to Kay Landry and Truman’s wife Moyra. We can’t wait to visit AC&T again soon. Also special thanks to Paul Slivka for filling in on bass, and our friends Sammy and Jenny for having us stay the night at there house.

The Coal Men, with guests Paul Slivka (bass) and Joe Garcia (guitar/lap steel), are headed out in the morning for Key West. We’re looking forward to seeing our friends Dan, Art, George, Alan, Bob, and so many more!

If you’re on the island this week please come down. It’s gonna be a great week of music.

The Coal Men will be playing Monday, November 28th – Sunday, December 4th at the Hogs Breath Saloon. Showtime is 10 p.m. (eastern) every night for seven nights.

You can also tune in on the “Hog Cam” to watch the show live.

There’s also a benefit for Rob O’Neil at the Smokin’ Tuna Saloon on Wednesday, Dec 7th. Dave Coleman will join in for a good cause.

Singing Vocals for the new album

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Tonight we got a bit of work done with the Dave Ray’s background vocals for “Midnight You,” a song Dave Coleman and Dave Ray wrote with long time friend Kennan Boyle. Brian Carter made the trip over to Rose Cliff for a remote session. Remember… You can get anything you want at Alice’s restaurant (excepting Alice).
