Dave & Dave will be playing with Lulu Mae at the Exit/In tonight to celebrate the release of The Mockingbird and The Dogwood Tree. Dave Coleman played all the electric guitar, baritone, and pedal steel in their latest album. Come down to join the fun.

Well… What a trip. Dave Coleman started 14 days with solo shows with help from his wife Stephanie.

Then the band came down. So unfortunately, Paul Slivka broke his hand by being hit by a “hit and run” driver while bicycling. Anyone who knows Paul is aware that he is tough as nails. After a police report, an emergency room visit, struggles with the police dept. and a vigilant search for a license plate number, Paul is still positive and full of love. He will be facing surgery for three broken bones in his left hands. All who read this, send love and healing Paul’s way.

Dave and Dave worked through the week with the great help of Dan Hogberg and TJ Erhardt (the Nace Brothers). What great crowds. Germany, Scotland, Michiganders, both Carolinians, Buckeyes, Nashvillians, locals, Arkansas ER boys and more. Thanks for a wonderful band week and a great community at the Hogsbreath. Thanks to bartenders Bob, George, Allen, Corey, Stephanie, Dave, Julie, Brian, Gos-Paul, Mark, the bar-backs JP, Steven, Victor, the managers Andy, Andy, Danimal, and Art. The Coal Men love you all.

TCM had a fine gig in Bristol, TN at O’Mainnin’s Pub with our friend Reagan Boggs. Thanks to Jarod Manzo for filling in on bass. We took this picture of an odd holiday bargain we missed out on. The show was interrupted by a seven feet tall man who orated an impromptu (and from the heart) endorsement of L C King Manufacturing Co. They make great blue jeans and are a local business. TCM will be playing new year’s eve at the Key West Hog’s Breath.

TCM had a wonderful trip to our favorite club in Virginia on the 17th. Thanks to all who came out. We played traditional Mexican Loteria (bingo). Prizes from the local Goodwill included Dwight Yoakum, Georgia Satellites LP’s, an electric iron, and a fine painting of a rooster. Congrats to our friends Mike and Gail for there 30th anniversary and best healing wishes to Kay Landry and Truman’s wife Moyra. We can’t wait to visit AC&T again soon. Also special thanks to Paul Slivka for filling in on bass, and our friends Sammy and Jenny for having us stay the night at there house.
